So lucky to have made it to18weeks after a very hard start to my pregnancy. But...my fatigue hasn't really relented...prior to being pregnant (IVF) I was very fit and strong. I'm not too bad now, managing about 15 miles a week brisk walking and a couple of hours of yoga. But that's nothing like what I was doing. Even modifying my exercise for pregnancy, I wish I was doing a bit more. Does anyone else feel floored by dinnertime?

Hi Maggie, thank-you so much for replying to my thread, I haven’t replied yet, ‘floored’ just totally reflects how I feel all day long. I’m 17 weeks. You sound like you’re doing amazingly with the walking and yoga. Before doing IVF I was doing 5k runs each day, but stopped in around September because of all those schools of thought that being too fit/lean/athletic is bad for fertility and a bit of extra padding is good. I went totally overboard with the avocados and Brazil nuts. I tried to do yoga earlier today but I could barely do ten minutes. I have no energy, but in all my stresses, it’s actually not making me too stressed. With my son I breastfed and ran around and got slim and fit again within a few months. I’m five years older now but I’m hoping my body will be forgiving for all these months of not exercising.
I feel floored by this time of day- 3pm! I’m begging my son if we can go and have a nap, he says no.
We still have a good few weeks to go before the third trimester starts in week 25 so maybe we will get more energy soon xx
