Worried and Pregnant

Hello! So today I should be 8 weeks and 5 days pregnant. Yesterday my friend and I, who is in her second trimester, went on a long walk to a Fedex and back. We started in the morning and the weather was nice. The highest it got was 71 F I believe. Walking home I had no issues except for sweating. I had some muscle cramping if you want to call it that on my legs, but that's pretty normal for walking long distance. Any ways, it was about 2 hours total walking outside in the highest temperature and I'm terrified I overheated and caused my baby harm. I have no problems and no symptoms of heat exhaustion, but just need some reassurance since my anxiety is high. Doesn't help that my symptoms aren't existent most of the time. Oh, i'm also 19 years old. Fairly young Blush
Thanks!

Being hot won’t harm the baby, exercise is good for you during pregnancy and it sounds like you did a good long gentle exercise. I really wouldn’t worry, you’ve done nothing risky. Women are pregnant all over the world in different climates and temperatures, middle of summer etc. if you don’t have any worrying symptoms or effects from it then I’m sure you’re fine. It’s natural to worry but you’ve done nothing risky. ✌🏼

Thank you! I freak out over the craziest most trivial things.. I try to blame hormones so I don't feel embarrassed, lol!

You should be fine. Exercise is good for you and baby just make sure you're not over doing it and drinking plenty of fluids

It probably is hormones that cause the worry, early on I had horrible overwhelming thoughts of worry like ‘how the hell am I going to do this’ (even though it’s not my first baby) but thankfully they didn’t last it’s just a phase but completely normal. Tbh becoming a parent, you’ll probably never stop worrying about them even when they’re grown up! 😅

Oh I agree! Once I hit the second and third trimester, my new thing will be constantly worrying about fetal movement and heartbeat! Then don't even get me started when he or she is born Confused
