When should you have your hospital bag ready???

Ive been starting to think about what i need to have for my hospital bag and wondered when this should be packed?
Also how early should i have the baby things washed and ready?
I left this fairly late when i was pg last time but now im off work for a few weeks and have started my 'nesting'
Im 26 weeks

I agree about the dressing gown, the ward was boiling last time. I just walked round in pj bottoms and a vest top or a nightie.
If you run out of pads the maternity wards always have supplies of them until you can get some more.

Agree with Kerioke - definitely have change of clothes for DH especially if ward/theatre is hot! Also, take loads of bottled water/Lucozade for both of you. I also borrowed one of those little hand held fans 'cos the ward sooo hot!
