Hi guys just wanted to know if someone has used anything to listen to baby's heartbeat at home?

Well, there's a Doppler. But don't use if you're going to panic if you can't find it. And don't use for reassurance if the baby stops kicking as much.

There is no safe way

There isn't a safe way. Dopplers cause more problems than they're worth.

Yes you could use a home Doppler, as long as you are only using it for fun and not replacing any ante natal care/worries you may have about movement etc.
I’ve used on since 9.5 weeks and I’m now 16 weeks, it’s helped massively after having 3 miscarriages, and my toddler also gets to ‘talk’ to the baby through the machine! It’s very sweet.
Remember that the baby’s heartbeat will be around 140 beats a minutes so it’s quite distinctive, don’t get it mixed up with all the whooshing of the placenta, or your own heartbeat!

Aren't you worried about the damage the sound waves could do? Doctors warn against it.

@Bezalelle research out there says it’s not a risk. And in any case, I listen to it for a few seconds which is all I need for reassurance. I’m starting to feel him/her moving a little and I always said I’d stop at that point.
