Clothes for a newborn girl that aren't pink and frilly

Just wondering if anyone has recommendations for online shops that sell "cute but tasteful" clothes for a baby girl, without the frills etc? Obv unisex or "boy" clothes also fine... I'm not particularly trying to be "gender neutral" as such, I just don't really like pink!

No offence intended to those that do like pink and frills btw - it's just personal taste.

For a newborn just get loads of white or yellow onesies. They don't need "outfits" at such a young age.

@Bezalelle yeah, well be doing that for most clothes (or buying a second hand bundle) but I want to get a couple of cute outfits for coming home etc..

Next do a lot of good stuff, also so do M+S. Ive got a load of babygrows and some dungarees that are nice.

I should say im having a boy but they're pretty unisex looking

I actually got some nice sleepsuits from ASDA. M&co have some nice outfits (I also hate pink) next normally has a good selection

Boots have 2 for £9 on selected sleepsuits, they are really cute normally and scandi style.

Tu out of all the supermarkets do the best for unisex gear normally (Elmer is cute!), Although check out the Tesco boys range instore (next do stock some of their stuff online)- we found lots of cute farm and vegetable bits for our girly.

Gap is good for bright seperates, keep checking back on their website as they have really good sale offers occasionally. If you're wanting to splash out for a couple of 'special' outfits, then Frugi is fab, as are Toby Tiger- lots of the smaller indie shops stock them and are currently doing offers to keep trade going.

I'm the exact same as you. Her 'outfits' are from M&S, Zara and Next.

We get sleepsuits from Tesco & Primark. They have some lovely prints and colours that aren't in your face pink.

Small handmade businesses would appreciate sales right now.

I really like matalan's stuff

UnrulySalvia · 20/03/2020 14:28

Ooh thanks all, lots to look at while I while away the next few days of self isolation Smile

I almost regret looking at Toby Tiger though - not cheap and know it'll only get worn a few times but I want all of it .. gah!

I love Kite stuff. Using Victoria Entwistle will get you 15% off on top of sale prices :)

SparkyBlue · 20/03/2020 15:02

OP Toby Tiger is fabulous. I am currently in love with some dungarees for DD and trying to justify the price. You might also like Moxomorra as the clothes are lovely and colourful.

A lot of the scandi stuff is nice with bright patterns.

H&M, Zara baby and next have the nicest stuff I’ve found :)
