Early labour/False labour

So I'm a first time mum and do new to all this sorry if this is an obvious answer.

I'm 39+3 days pregnant and last night we thought it was labour time, I'd been lying down sort of on my side watching a show before bed, then baby starts moving around like nuts taking my breath away sometimes and causing me back pain. I then feel as if I need to run to the loo (tmi) for a number 2 as I feel so much pressure and soreness on my lower back all over, and I feel like I need to double over as it's round my front and it feels like she is so low down!

Then I start to feel nauseous and shakey, I couldn't get rid of the shakes for about 10+ minutes, I had to hold my partners hands and breathe so deeply for ages till I eventually calmed down, I think that may have been an anxiety thing. But this is going on whilst I still have an aching back.

So it all eases off eventually and I decide to just try sleep and if I wake up like this again in the night to call the midwife but it hasn't happened again since. I've never felt this way before and haven't had this extreme discomfort yet. Could it be signs of early labour or does it seem like a false labour?

Knowing me she still won't arrive for another 2 weeks!

This has happened to me on and off from 37 weeks, I’ll be 40 weeks on Thursday and I’m afraid no baby.

From all my various research it looks like it either could be early signs of labour and something will happen soon OR it’s false labour and nothing will happen for a while. Sorry to be the bearer of no-news-news.

@ShirleyPhallus yeah I thought as much as well that's okay though she'll come when she's ready! Smile
