Hiya...
Just wanted some advice -
I am due to give birth on 2nd April and my husband is best man at a wedding on the 27th March. I am doing my best to self isolate so I won't be going but do you think the same should apply to him?
Should it be okay for him still to go knowing he's coming home to me?

Many thanks in advance for all your help/advice!!

I'm not sure there is a definitive answer to this - if he does go he will likely need to be extremely conscious of those around him on the day and be on the lookout for any symptoms following the wedding. If he develops any symptoms then he won't be able to be with you during the birth I assume so it is risky.
However...the way things are going it may be that the wedding has to unfortunately be postponed in any event, particularly if the government introduces more stringent restrictions (like France etc)

Under current government guidelines the wedding should not happen, I'm afraid - or at least, not as a large social event. The ceremony could still take place privately.

I wouldn’t be expecting the wedding to go ahead as planned either. Very tough for the couple, but the advice is clear and may be more heavily enforced by then

The wedding won’t be happening.

I was due to go to a wedding on the 20th which has now been postponed. There might be nothing to worry about.

Thank you for all your advice, he's taken the difficult decision not to go and he's going to make the call to the groom tonight 😢!
What a time to bring a baby into the world! X
