Brown discharge 20 weeks

I was wondering if anybody could help.
I've bled through this pregnancy to the point the midwife thought I'd lost the baby on two separate occasions, however over the last 3 weeks I've had brown/murky discharge whenever I've gone to the loo.

I've been trying to get hold of my midwife and she doesn't answer her phone, voicemails or texts and the hospital are telling me to speak to my midwife. Easier said than done.

Did anybody else have this?
I'm not sure if it's old blood, or just a change is discharge.

Ring your doctor surgery and ask to see speak to any midwife asap, they will have stand in midwives to assist you if yours is unavailable.
You need to get it checked to stop you worrying, I never had brown discharge with any of mine till I lost my mucus plug, I would definitely be worried myself. Though there are cases where people have had periods all the way through pregnancy so don't overly worry just get checked out

I'm 10 weeks pregnant, and yesterday started having brown watery discharge. I've panicked and rang my fertility clinic (as I had IUI) and I've booked in a scan for tomorrow. Part of my worry is due to some difficulties I've already had in this pregnancy with being told my baby was measuring smaller. But the lady on the phone reassured me it's normal to have brown discharge and it's very common. But I booked the scan anyway to be on the safe side.
I've read numerous old threads on here last night and this morning, and quite a few women during various stages of their pregnancy said they had brown discharge and things were ok. You could call your GP if you can't get hold of your midwife for information or to see if you can be checked out. It's difficult to get hold of mine too. Well sort of impossible as they never answer the phone..!

Thanks ladies
@LetMeIn321 I wouldn't say it's watery, but a decent volume.
@Anonymousmummy12345 my hospital doesn't want to know and my Midwife's won't contact me, I've got my husband phoning them all morning and I'll try on my lunch. I know the NHS is stressed but I've been trying to contact them for 3 weeks now Confused

That's terrible, I'm currently 34weeks pregnant but all through my pregnancy if I needed anything all I'd have to do is ring and my midwife would be in touch in a matter of hours. Surely you should be due your 20week scan soon? That would make you more comfortable seeing baby ok. I think its terrible they are ignoring you, just a 5 minute call to reassure you the babies ok, it couldn't hurt. Can you get a phone call appointment with a doctor, any doctor should know a bit about everything so should be able to advise you, that or calling 111 and explaining the situation to them, they might be able to get the help you need, you just want reassurance I know they are under pressure right now but your baby is still important. X

Just an update, triage phoned me after speaking to my husband. They're going to do some swabs when I'm there for my scan on Thursday!

Thank you x
