I'm not sure what I want to do. I'm 9 weeks pregnant apparently the period I had in February was not a period Blush.

I work in a birthing centre.. would you ?

I just don’t think it would go down very well in my office

Yeah I wouldn’t either, we’re open plan and I’m right in the CEO’s eyeline.

Well, it would be the most practical Sex-Ed lesson I’ve ever taught... My Year 5s would learn a lot!

For you, I have no idea. Would you feel uncomfortable with that?

I used to work in a maternity unit and it was about 50/50 whether pregnant staff gave birth there or elsewhere. Most of the clinical staff chose to do so - it was more the admin staff who did not.

Haha!!! Amazing responses 😂 suppose I should have been more specific but these are amazing! Obvs I would be giving birth in an office although my last job was in a cardiac operating theatre so kind of appropriate but also not as the surgeon was a duck and would probably just have shouted at me not to drop the tray 😂

I've done it! Well, I WFH and I've had two home births #pointlessderailmentofthread.

Hi! Im an A+E nurse and plan to give birth where I work (not in A+E specifically.....!)

I like it because its a familiar environment and I know the hospital systems. Also I have a car pass that lets me park for free on hospital grounds, thats a big bonus!

No, the kids would really freak out - not sure it's what they'd expect of their history teacher 😁 For you, I'd say if you get on with your colleagues and can see yourself being able to relax somewhere that you think of as your workplace, then go for it!

Yes. I gave birth in my local hospital where I worked as admin on the labour and maternity wards. I received fantastic care and wouldn’t have had it any other way, so nice to see familiar friendly faces during that time.
