Twins and travel

I've recently found out I'm expecting twins!! This is less than a year after a devastating miscarriage so the husband and I are absolutely over the moon!! We're super excited but now I've started to think about practicality.

We live in a very small house with little to no storage space and on a road where cars park half on the path half on the road so a double travel system is out of the question.

Has anyone else who has had twins had a normal travel system and just a carrier and alternated the babies? One in the push chair and one in the carrier for everyday outings?

Is it practical?

@RachelStrickson you can get twin prams/travel systems that are same size as a normal pram the silvercross coast is a very good choice and very good quality it might be worth a look x

@khall84 Thanks for the reply, it does look lovely, I've looked at some similar. The only thing that puts me off with those types is one baby seems as though it'll be hidden. I may be wrong, not looked at one in real life.

I think the idea of slinging/carrying one and pushing one is fine for the early days however they are going to get heavy fast!

I would look at peoples suggestions about buying something that is similar to a normal pram. There are loads of different options too look at.
