Am I pregnant?

Please don't attack me for the title. I'm just hella confused.

32, f, TTC.

My period is 10 days late.
I have taken about 6/7 pregnancy tests, all showing a faint second line. I asked my DH to pee on one to see if they were faulty, he didn't get a second line, faint or otherwise.

These tests came with a pack of ovulation tests (Femometer I think) and I know the ovulation sticks work so by that logic I have no reason to fault the pregnancy sticks.

"Why don't you just go to a doctor?"
I work in a bookies and as Cheltenham is next week we are currently in the middle of our biggest rush of the year. If I call in sick for any days I lose my bonus (they call it incentive).
I also can't see an out of hours doc after work as they are all crazy busy with people freaking out about COVID19 now that it's in my city.

My question is: can faint lines mean pregnancy? My period is usually like clockwork so if it actually is just ten days late this will be a new one for me!

@Peasfox ofc we have beans. I wonder is that because they are produced in the UK and we can't ever give ye credit for something (it's actually illegal in Ireland to like a UK product lol)

Faint lines always mean pregnant. You can't get a false positive pregnancy test. Congratulations!

Thanks all!! Grin

Hi, sorry to jump on this thread but I am wondering the same question. Different situation as I took 3 HPTs last week, all faint lines on the T zone then at the weekend I had some light bleeding for 2 days - not heavy enough to be a period but not light enough that it counts as spotting. Took another HPT this morning and its negative, I'm so confused, please help!!

bluemoon2468 · 11/03/2020 15:24

Unfortunately @Bettyblue87 that sounds like a chemical pregnancy (very, very early miscarriage). Sadly they're extremely common but typically women don't even know about them unless they test early. Sending love and hopefully next month will be your month (if you want it to be!) ❤

Bettyblue87 · 11/03/2020 15:52

Thanks @bluemoon2468 I was fearing that may be the case as that is what happened last month but we got further along this time :(

skinnymarshmallow · 11/03/2020 18:48

Lines should get darker- if they don't It may be a chemical or a pregnancy that is not progressing. Test again in a few days

I'm unfollowing my own post because of bad vibes. Cheers Hmm

? What? Bad vibes??

OP just wanted to say I too used the ferometer ones and even weeks past my period it was still fairly faint. (But they're cheap enough I kept checking till early scan).
