Hello! Just looking for some positive stories please from ladies who have taken over 6/7 months to conceive? And if you did anything different that month? X

12 months for us! It happened the month we stoped actively trying and only DTD twice that month. Good luck 😊

3 years with 3 MC's and a laparoscopy. I'm now 14+5.

2 years 7 months. Conceived on my second to last round of chlomid. If you have any concerns ask to be referred to gyne. Good luck x

2.5 years, 2 MC, 3 IVF transfers and I hell of a lot of money. Currently 19+3. You just never know the hand you'll be dealt.

10 months with DD and 2 months with DS. First time I had irregular cycles and tried everything. Was referred for fertility testing and found out I was expecting the week before they were due to start. She was conceived when we had given up ‘trying’ and just DTD when we fancied it that month. DS was a result of ‘trying’ (ovulation sticks etc) cycles were very regular though, having DD seemed to have ‘fixed’ whatever the previous issue had been.

Nearly 3 years for my first, one month for my second!

It took me 8 months in both pregnancies I've had. I did nothing out of the ordinary.

18 months. What (seemed to) work for us was me really working on my health. Before we started I was quite underweight and used to get dizzy and out of breath easily eg running up stairs. I joined a gym and got a PT, gradually reached a healthy weight... it finally happened! Even if it was just a coincidence, it can't hurt to look at your and OH's health and lifestyle and put in some healthy changes.

18 months here - the only thing we changed was buying my husband a multipack of giant boxers rather than the briefs he prefers - we were both quite startled when this seemed to actually work within a month or two

3 years of not actively trying to prevent, more of a "we're married, bought the house, got the dog, stable in our careers, etc etc and if it happens it won't be an issue" followed by 8 months of trying, a trip to the GP to discuss and then blood tests, she only did them because we hadn't even had a "scare" in the 3 years of not preventing, I was already pregnant at that point (didn't know, blood test give Dr the result she called me in, lost it 2 weeks later) followed by another mc 2 months after at 4 weeks. And then fell with ds a month after that.

So in all almost 12 months of actively trying.

I hope you get you bfp soon!

A bit over two years, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, two Ivf transfers and one miscarriage-but got there in the end -26 weeks today. Hang in there -it can be a really long journey -but hopefully yours will be over soon

10 months, conceived on the month we only dtd when we wanted to as I had a bloody busy work month Coming up and didn't want to under perform because of morning sickness. We didn't prevent anything but stopped forcing sex just because I was ovulating for a month or so and then got our BFP. It sounds cliche when people say don't put too much pressure on it, but judging by my situation and PP's it seems like good advice.

Happened after 6 months , but it was the opposite for me , i was convinced i was infertile and had some big problem
I made my husband have sex with me everyday , for a month ,and keep my legs up , and everything else , i was stressed after every sex , rambling and saying to my husband "i bet nothing will work and we will have to do ivf"
I am a verry verry anxious person , so i was verrrrrryy shocked to find out i am pregnant
I am 13 weeks now
But i dont think i would ever be able to relax, and stop trying.
