I didn't think this was possible so early on , I'm 16 weeks but I can distinctly feel a hard lump when I'm lay down at night on side of my belly, I also have twinges and flutters on that side, and the rest of my belly is squishy, it's like the perfect sized lump for how big the baby is at this stage (approx 11cms) and sometimes when I touch it the hardness moves away and goes squishy again as though that's where baby is lay, in showing so much already and I am only really really tiny I'm a size 6, I heard that some times the smaller you are you do feel baby earlier on.. has anyone else experienced anything like this? I found a feed on here of women describing similar situations at this stage but can't find it again 😩 x

I’m sure I can feel this too! I’m also quite small and usually a size 8 pre baby belly and I’m sure I can also feel the hard lump you described!

I’m getting little ‘popping’ sensations too, but not really had flutters or butterflies so not sure if it’s him or not! I’m 16w6d :)

I felt my little one properly from 16 weeks onwards so it could very well be. I also questioned it back then but at 25 weeks I know that it was definitely him Grin

@Kl129 @Hodge85 how exciting!! Yes I was having flutters from 15.5-16 weeks and was doubting what they were until I mentioned it to my midwife she was saying they are definitely flutters and now I can recognise the feelings , when I get the feelings I get the large lump in my belly so think it's definitely baby! Xxx
