17 weeks cervix feels open

Please help. I'm 17 weeks and had 2 premature deliveries (28 and 33 weeks). I've been having cramps on and off since Friday. I saw the midwife today and there was no sign of infection. I had some blood results through at the weekend to say that my PAPP-A was low and a risk of that is premature labour. I don't know why, but I just felt the need to check my cervix. I feel like something's wrong so maybe that's why. It feels like it's slightly open. I didn't want to apply any pressure, but it feels very soft and the tip of my finger could fit inside. I know that this wouldn't be premature labour, it would be a miscarriage. So at this point, if it's going to happen should I just let it? I'm seeing the consultant on Thursday about the PAPP-A results. I don't know if I should wait until then to see what happens. Or if I should try to go to Maternity Assessment Unit in case I need a cervical cerclage.

My DC and DP are all asleep. I don't know if I should try to sleep too and just hope for the best.

Is it normal for the cervix to feel like this? Is there any chance that it's not opening?

I know the cervix can be slightly open anyway after you've had children

All I can say is when my cervix failed at 18 weeks I had a feeling that something wasn't right and my cervix felt like it had moved forward. I'd also had two pre term births that were due to prom at 35 and 32 weeks . If i had my time again I'd ring the maternity unit and get checked out
