Early pregnancy - health issues need advice

I will try and keep this post as short as possible but I need some reassurance/support I guess...

I am around 6 weeks pregnant but have a few health/psychological issues which I think might effect this pregnancy and just wondering if people think I should ask for some extra support and whether my reasons/health issues are valid:-

I have had a few laparoscopy surgeries in the last 2 years - due to scar tissue in my uterus which effected my periods - the scarring was removed but before I fell pregnant my periods were getting lighter and more painful (my previous symptoms of scar tissue).

I also last year (July) has abnormal cells removed under a general aneastethic - this procedure would normally be done under a local but I requested to be put to sleep (after a failed attempt under local) due to ptsd from a previous Gynae procedure which causes me to get scar tissue in the first place (termination).

I think I have something called Tokophobia and already have underlying anxiety and depression.

I am going to see my GP today to speak to her but I guess I’m just wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences and what support did you get?

I haven’t told my partner I’m pregnant yet (he will be over the moon) but just want to make sure I have a good support network in place.

Would my issues mean I might need extra scans/consultant appointments? I’m just not sure if I should be pushing for this - I have been pregnant before and got no support from any health professionals - hence my decision to terminate - this has had a massive impact on my mental health and I want to see it through this time as I genuinely want a child just hate the idea of being pregnant :(

PTSD and Tokophobia would automatically qualify you for referral to the perinatal mental health team and birth options midwives in our area. Depending on the procedure used to remove cells you may or may not need cervical length scans. You may or may not need to see a consultant re:laparoscopy.

Don’t expect any or all of this to all of a sudden happen quickly in early pregnancy. You’ll see a midwife at 8-10 weeks, referrals will fall into place from there but very little tends to happen before 12 weeks.
