Hey! I'm looking for a comfy pregnancy pillow, ideally under £50- one of the big long 'u' shaped ones, has anyone got any recommendations? Thanks in advance x

I've recently just bought the Asda one and have found it amazing, slept so well since I've got it. Great value.

I got a V shaped pillow from John Lewis. Think it was £45 and I loved it

I just purchased a Pharmedoc U shape pillow. It has a detachable part as well that you can use to put between your legs. Only cost me £40.99 on amazon. But you can but directly from them. Honestly so much better since I got it as well and stats plumped up.

I got this and it's working well:

I got mine from amazon and cost me £23 I believe. It's so comfortable! It's 12 foot in total. Be careful with amazon though as I didn't read the description properly, this one didn't come with a pillow case so you would have to buy that separately. This will come within your budget of £50 all together though x

The Theraline is amazing. It's made of beans so it can be manipulated into different shapes and it's done me for 2 pregnancies so far. The ones that are just the same material as normal pillows seem a bit of a waste - why can't you just use an extra normal pillow or 2?

Would also recommend the crescent-shaped theraline one as I found it more comfortable than a u-shaped pillow in mid pregnancy and again in very late pregnancy. The full body pillows start off comfortable but when you inevitably need to get up and pee, getting out of it and then back into it can be challenging! I have the Summer Infant one which is also a breastfeeding pillow and can be used to prop up older babies and toddlers. However DS is 4 weeks old now and the pillow hasn’t left the cupboard I shoved it in when I got back from hospital...

Just FYI I found the IKEA rectangular bolster pillows to be good for shoving under the bump too. Much cheaper, portable, and look good on the sofa for longer.

Another vote for the Asda 12 foot one. It is my saviour

Another vote for the ASDA one, pretty cheap and I slept great my whole pregnancy! Still in great condition so keeping it for my next.

Babyshine2020 · 01/03/2020 10:22

I've got this one. So comfy. And the back straight but can be zipped off (I prefer it in)

I was using a V pillow around my neck/back and one between my legs until I bit the bullet about bought this, this option is comfier, but the 2 V pillows would be enough (just a pain if you wiggle in your sleep)

Annafs · 01/03/2020 14:59

I’ve got the Asda one too and love it, although it is massive and takes up most of the space. It’s great value too at about £20 or something x

Saraj09876 · 03/03/2020 19:24

Okay so I'm going to try the Asda one first as they are round the corner from me and easier for returns than online! Thanks everyone for your comments! I'll update with a comfiness rating out of ten when it arrives :)
