Need a bit of hand holding

I think I need a bit of hand holding here.

9 + 4 pregnant with my first pregnancy after TTC for 18 months. I started bleeding around 7 hours ago. Nothing major but its there when I wipe.

The past week or so I've had this overwhelming feeling of not being pregnant. Any nausea gone, boobs aren't as sore although I've still been constantly tired.

Today I've just had this heavy feeling in my stomach, almost like my period was away to start.

I'm absolutely devastated. I've booked a private scan for tomorrow as I just can't wait until next week. I just know what the outcome is going to be and I don't want to prolong it any further.

I really don't think I can go through the heartbreak of TTC again, I really don't :(

Got everything x for you!!!.

I had heavy bleeding for 3 days after my bfp, still pregnant! Now 26 weeks.

My first 3 scans i was pretty sure it was all over, but my lo clung on!

cloclo92 · 22/02/2020 17:02

I had a bleed at 11 weeks with clot. No pains tho. But baby thankfully was fine I'm now 17 weeks.

I cried all night sobbing that they were gone.

With my two miscarriages I had extreme pain and heavy bleeding. My pregnancy symptoms were still present.

Best of luck hope all goes well x

lalala5 · 22/02/2020 17:03

How did your scan go? Thinking of you Thanks

avocadont · 22/02/2020 17:17

Hope everything is okay!
If it helps you to know about- I got bleeding somewhere between 8/9 weeks and called 111 (I had not yet seen a midwife and I didn't have a GP due to problems with moving etc.), they sent me to the EPU and I had an early scan and everything was absolutely fine. I'm now 29+6 and everything is all okay!! Best of luck my lovely. x

I've tried to reply twice, but my comments aren't showing.

Scan went amazingly well. Baby has a strong heartbeat and we saw our little one moving around and kicking his legs (I'm sure he's a boy).

Turns out I have some bruising on either my sac or uterus (I lost all concentration by that point). A couple of hours later I did have a bit of a heavier bleed but I'm putting this down to irritation as I clearly already had irritation to begin with, having the scanner thing (sorry I don't know what it's called) pushing on my uterus could've been a bit aggravating. This bleed happened around 5ish and I've not bled much more since.

Thank you all so much for your kind words and experiences. I'm so sorry to all of you who lost your babies, but I really do want to thank you for sharing your hard times with me.

Thank you again

What a lovely update.
So glad it all went well for you OP.
I had bleeding at 12 weeks convinced myself that was it but had a private scan and thankfully all fine.
If you have bruising I think it is common for bleeding to occur (I think) but of course always get checked out! x

MrsMyreton · 22/02/2020 20:58

Fantastic news OP, delighted for you Thanks

rainbowstardrops · 23/02/2020 07:43

Great news!

anjahaa · 23/02/2020 08:17

Thank you everyone :)

I'm still bleeding, managed to fill about a quarter of a pad while sleeping. So a bit more than before but I'm really not worried. We've seen our baby squirming and kicking away and I'm postivie the extra blood is just as a result of the pressure on my uterus. Before the scan I had pretty much stopped bleeding so I'm sure it'll stop over the course of the next day or so :)

Marshy86 · 23/02/2020 08:34

Hi Op,

I had bleeding from 6.5 weeks to 13 first started off as a little then from week 8 onwards it was every time I wiped there would be blood. I was told as long as it's not clots not to worry and now still pregnant with healthy little boy at 32 weeks. I ended up passing one clot but that was the last of the bleeding and the day it stopped. Wishing you all the best

anjahaa · 23/02/2020 09:35

I'm defo having a duvet day! Hubby has already said he's going to get stuff done today and will leave me to nap and relax 😊 he's a good one.

I'm a dog walker so a bit physical, but not something I can put my feet up with! I'll be keeping our walks chilled I think, more cuddles and practising tricks than walking up hill!!

I've not passed any clots, it's weird, it's like the opposite of a period, just a trickle every now and then. A very odd sensation!

I'll phone EPU tomorrow anyway :)
