9 weeks pregnant. What is this???

Hi,
So in the morning when I wake up I have a baby bump, looking down seems more prominent on left side but looking upwards just looks like a good few months baby bump.
I was 9 weeks yesterday and this is my third pregnancy, last was almost 6 years ago.

I will attach photos, one looking down and the other looking up. Any advice would be amazing thanks

I’d say it’s relaxed abs so everything just “hangs out”., especially as overnight your body gets to decompress from the previous day on your feet. As opposed to first pregnancy where everything is snug and tight.

Did you have any particular symptoms during pregnancy that signals twins rather than the one baby?
I’ve been googling it to try and find out if there are differences.
TMI but I’ve been going to the toilet a lot and not just for a number one, thought we were supposed to be constipated at this time?

Raging morning sickness and I felt faint tediously often.

OP I was the opposite to constipated and like you have a bump at 9 weeks..... along side horrendous nausea and actual sickness, our early scan this week revealed twins! 🤷🏽‍♀️

I have nausea too but haven’t been sick. As we speak feeling sick. So tired.

Congratulations that’s wonderful news.
Did you have an inkling before your scan it was twins?
I’ve booked a private scan on Friday, quite nervous actually.
Have nausea a lot, and so hungry. Haven’t actually been sick... fingers crossed.

I agree could be twins or you may be further along than you think. Is that a possibility?

@Fingerscrossed11 tbh it did t even cross my mind at all. My husband did though but he kept it to himself. He was surprised at how much I am showing already and how tired and nauseous I was. Even thought it's our first and he had nothing to go by. He has downloaded an app and there was an article on twins, so I think that was his light bulb moment.

We have our first NHS scan tomorrow with the multiples team.

I had this with my third, never did find out what he was but I showed really early and he came out massive!! (Well, 10lb 7, but definitely the largest baby I’ve had!)

I was also a hell of a lot more exhausted with that pregnancy than I was with the previous two as well. Constant nausea and I was in maternity jeans by 12 weeks

I had no idea it was twins. My previous pg had ended in mc and I was so worried I just went quiet. The sonographer was quite shitty and said “well at least one of you is pleased” as Dh was grinning. I was just praying they’d live. I still really feel hurt by that. So so wanted.

Thank you. Would have been 10 weeks yesterday but had my scan today and was told baby measured 11 weeks 1 day. Not sure how that works really.

The one baby shown at scan today waving and kicking. By my last period would be 10 weeks and 1 day. Measurements today showed me as 11 weeks and 1 day. Does that mean it will be a big baby?

That’s horrible the sonography was like that especially at a time where you will be nervous and excited at the same time hoping that everything is well.
Hopefully get a different sonographer next time

Thank you for the luck today. Had scan, all is well. Placenta at back which I’ve heard is good. Baby was kicking and waving away. Last menstrual period would have me at 10 weeks and 1 day today but scan measured baby as 11 weeks 1 day.

My first was hardly evident with clothes on until 20 weeks, but third was a distinct bump at 12 weeks! No significant difference in my or their weight.

Everything went well. 1 baby waving and kicking away. Would be 10weeks and 1 day, scan showed me as 11 weeks and 1 day so 1 week ahead? Placing my due date week earlier

Hi ladies, had scan and one baby. My last period would put me at 10weeks 1 day but measurement at scan put me at 11 weeks 1 day.

I was distinctly showing by 11 weeks with my third baby (singleton).

In general, I don't necessarily think size of bump has much to do with size of baby/ies - certainly not in the early stages and - in the case of singleton pgs - later. I've always tended towards huge bumps and my babies have been between 2.5 and 3 kg (all full term and two overdue).

I think my tummy muscles just not as strong as they used to be lol.
Actually did think they would say twins today because I’ve put on so much weight, probably bloating.
My other children weren’t big either, both 6lbs and so many ounces
