Morning sickness returning at 28 weeks?

Hi all, I'm 28 weeks pregnant and for the past week or so I've been feeling nauseous. I had brutal morning sickness for the first 15 weeks which was there all day and night and peaked in the early hours of the morning (3am - 6 am). Like having the worst hangover ever.

For the past week or so I've been walking during the night feeling sick and the nausea is there in the morning and some of the day.

Is this just morning sickness back for one last hurrah or could it be something else does anyone know?

Straight forward pregnancy so far, no bad heartburn, back pain etc.

I’m 28 weeks too and thought the nausea might be returning... was really hoping not! Following this thread!

I'm 26 weeks. Still sick some mornings but not necessarily nauseas before sick. The thought of some food can turn my stomach also.

I'm 26 weeks and have been sick at least once a week since about 18 weeks, but it randomly gets worse, at 23 weeks I was super sick again. I think it must be growth spurts causing a surge in hormones.

Yup. I had a second round. Thankfully it passed quickly.

This happened to me. In fact it Never really left entirely. But I found that the sickness I had towards the end was exacerbated by food rather than helped by it so I think it was related to reflux. I found rennies - or refreshers sweets/love hearts when I needed sone flavour - helped xxx

In the last week or two I've been feeling nauseous...I've put it down to baby being bigger and throwing himself around making me feel queasy.

My morning sickness disappeared around 11-13 weeks I think. Im 26 wks now and IF i let myself get over exhausted and do too much, I feel that nausea again. Have also been sick a few times. And can only put it down to having had a too busy weekend (have 2 DC so nearly alwasy busy...) or having not enough sleep due to being uncomfortable in bed! etc.

I had this. All day and night sickness till about 16 weeks then a number of resurgences- 25 weeks, 30 weeks can't remember the rest. I then had it in the last week leading up to birth of DD.
You might just be unlucky like I was but it'll be worth it in the end.

Definitely agree it seems linked to hormone surges and growth spurts. I found a mixture of gaviscon and back to my trusty cyclizine worked. I didn’t feel like it was caused by heartburn but the gaviscon did help settle me (23 weeks currently, morning sickness was 9-16 weeks and then gone. But appearing irregularly now)

Hope you feel better soon

Ok thanks, as long as it isn't anything more sinister I don't mind

@Hello54321, this is not a medical forum. Nobody here has a clue about the cause of your nausea. Discuss it with your midwife , who may suggest you go to the GP.

Hello54321 · 22/02/2020 17:20

@Footle I was looking for other people's experiences with nausea returning during pregnancy at 28 weeks. I was not expecting for anyone to pinpoint the cause of my nausea. If you have nothing constructive to add to a discussion please move along. Have a wonderful day.

Sorry OP, didn't mean to be annoying. Hope you feel better very soon.
