Bleeding but no problems?

Hi.
I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant but have been bleeding for 3 weeks!
I had a scan on Monday which showed a strong heartbeat and that my little baby is growing as it should. The nurse said I have slight bruising in my uterus from the baby getting comfy which they think that is causing the bleeding but can not be sure.

Has anyone else been through something similar? Just feels so strange to be bleeding for this long, I've lost the odd clot and what looks to be a bit of tissue type stringy substance. I was totally reassured when I went for the scan but it is still constantly on my mind. So bizarre Hmm

Hi @kayjxo I think it's great that you've heard the heartbeat and your baby is growing as expected, although I know how anxious it can feel to experience spotting.

I had this on and off for 3 weeks too and had a scan on Tuesday at what I thought was 8 weeks. They told me I'm measuring 6 weeks which I know isn't right based on when we last DTD. So although the bleeding has stopped I'm a nervous wreck!

I have read so many stories about bleeding and normal pregnancies so I think your scan is really positive! Hope you have a smooth journey from here x

Currently 15 weeks and can relate - been to epu 3 times this week, also had a scan monday and baby and placenta are ok. They can't confirm or look into what is causing the bleeding and I've now been bleeding on and off for 6 days. Definitely stressful but been advised to rest and only go back now if in pain or passing clots.
