Yes just that really! Curious at what I can expect as I intend to hide it as long as possible at work?

Absolutely!

I’m 5”8 and UK size 8 - same size as when I had my 8lbs4oz daughter, and I didn’t show with her until I was about 26 weeks, maybe more.
My tummy was completely flat - it was a bit concerning but I guess she had plenty of room in there Wink

11 weeks now and have lost a KG or two due to morning sickness Sad.

I'm bigger (uk size 14-16) and 15 weeks tomorrow. I can see and feel a tiny bump and my jeans won't do up anymore but I've only just told work and everyone there said they wouldn't have known.
I think I look more bloated at the minute than anything else.

Hey Smile

I am 16+1 weeks (first pregnancy). i am 5ft 3 and was about size 6-8 in pants.. my first trimester i had no symptoms of pregnancy at all, no sickness, nausea, tiredness etc however i was extremely hungry! I could not stop eating and i was quite depressed about it to be honest. last time i checked i have put 8lbs on because of the hunger.. As soon as i reached 2nd trimester i went back to normal (hunger wise) no cravings or nothing.

I found this pretty hard because i would say i'm very healthy and very active. all i wanted to to was eat everything carby and not exercise so im glad im feeling back to normal now :)

(I am still fitting in my size 8 pants) but definitely going to be in size 10 very soon as the bump is just about starting to pop out, or do i get maternity pants?? i dont know! (I am the only female in my job too, everyone else are men, no one suspects a thing)

Hope this helps you even a little bit! xx

I’m 20 weeks and just started showing but still could hide it if people didn’t know I had a flat stomach before 😆.

MissyGirl29 · 19/02/2020 12:08

Hmm, Maybe start wearing baggy tops now so people dont start asking questions? Ive been coming in wearing baggy jumpers and tops straight after Christmas so its worked well!

SunStruck · 19/02/2020 12:12

@MissyGirl29 oh I like that, clever! 😄 yes I'm going to wear floaty tops more now (never wear skintight anyway... too old for that 🤣)!

@SunStruck haha Yes well perks of it being cold weather at the moment, its easy to hide! I have no idea when i'm going to tell my work, I don't really want to because ill probably get looked at / treated differently like i am diseased haha xx

happymrsc · 19/02/2020 12:26

I'm size 10/12 normally and started showing (and I mean properly showing!) at 16 weeks, however I did lost over a stone in first trimester so that probably didn't help

InMyOwnParticularIdiom · 19/02/2020 12:27

I didn't put anything on in the first trimester due to the copious vomiting, but by around 16 weeks I was looking plumper than usual and by 20 weeks was in maternity dresses and obviously pregnant. Started out 5'2, size 14.

happymrsc · 19/02/2020 12:33

Oh, and am 5' 6"

Christmastree43 · 19/02/2020 12:34

Agree with the consensus, I am 5'6 and size 8-10 and have just started to show at 21 weeks. I would say I've looked 'fat' in the tummy area for a good four weeks though as the bloke in the work canteen (not the full ticket) said to me out of the blue 'you've gained a bit' Shock

I am really not looking forward to obviously showing at work (don't mind outside of work) and all the annoying comments from mostly men here 🙄

bobbypinseverywhere · 19/02/2020 12:39

Well this thread has made me feel shit Shock I’m 14 weeks and I’ve gained about 7lbs.... and I’m so bloated/ constipated most of my clothes don’t fit. I definitely have a bigger stomach - but I think most of it is poo Grin

Normally a slim size 12, height 5’7 and bmi 21

WeeScottishWife · 19/02/2020 18:41

I'm 5'4, size 8-10 before pregnancy, and at 17 weeks I've only gained a couple of lbs. Over the past year I've noticed I go up & down by a couple not infrequently, so haven't kept too close an eye on it, this just feels like my normal fluctuations at the moment.
