Reduced movements

Hey,
So my second born stopped growing at 36 weeks and didn't realise until i was 40 weeks. I always had reduced movements but when i went one time i was told not to go back until i felt him not moving at all. At 40 weeks i told my midwife that i was still concerned and why i hadn't gone in for a check and thats how we found out. He was fine and born 2 days later and the doctor who told me what she did was reported etc
But now i'm 34 weeks with my third child, and in under a week i've been at hospital for reduced movements, only this time my midwife was very concerned when she measured my belly and noticed little growth. I have a doppler scan appointment tomorrow at 8am, and a scan Friday (they couldn't get me in sooner) at 10am, but i'm freaking out! I'm already stressed out with a few things thats happening with my husbands work (long story) hospital and doctors know and keeping checks, but this on top is really causing me some stress. It doesn't help because i had a miscarriage last year and my baby not moving is really upsetting.
Can anyone advice me on what may happen if this keeps going on? I want him to be happy and safe and him not moving is telling me something isn't right.
My midwife is also concerned about me and baby, but i just want advice and want to know i'm not alone right now x

If you're still not happy with the babies movements please go back again to be monitored. Better to go back 100 times and nothing be wrong than not go, my midwife drummed that into my head. If you have to go in every day until your baby arrives then that's fine, but don't sit at home worrying

I would phone & get them to check you over. I did everytime i thought something was wrong its best to be safe.
I now have a healthy 15wk old & dont regret phoning them everytime i felt something was wrong. The staff were so lovely they always said they would rather see me than not x

He moved quite a bitast night in bed, got a dopple scan at 8am so see what they say.
If it carrys on with reduced movements will they keep me in? Or induce me? Sounds daft, but if it came to it, i'd rather have him here early knowing hes ok, than worrying all the time x

I'm pretty sure I'd reduce movements continue you'll see a consultant who will discuss inducing you, I suppose this will depend on different factors.

My SIL. Was having a lot of reduce movements and was induced at 37 weeks.

Keep going in for monitoring. If it does keep happening you will be offered induction from 37 weeks. This is my experience- I had a baby in December.

They'll try not to induce until term, so will hold off unless there's a definite indication that all is not well.

Just had a doppler scan, everything was fine, hes breech though. I asked to be monitored again as still little movements, got to go in for daily monitoring until i have my next scan and see a consultant. I honestly can't wait until he's here, worst pregnancy so far.
Thank you everyone though x

Glad all is ok and that you're now getting regular monitoring
