Anyone mind sharing what pram they have and their thoughts on it please? I had a bugaboo cameleon with dc1 and loved it, still can't see past it so looking at getting the bugaboo fox this time round. I know I'm probably overlooking a lot of great prams with being so stubborn/short sighted, any reccomendations of others I should look at would be greatly appreciated.

I have the fox and love it. It's big and bulky but I don't use public transport and mainly walk everywhere. It's handled all the terrain I've given it from bumpy pavements to off road. Basket underneath is more useful when you're not using the bassinet. I'm tall so liked that it's high up and DS is a big baby so the big bassinet proved to be very useful!

I hated the chameleon I had on my first child as I had to take the bloody wheels off to get it in the car! I am in my third child now and have the uppa baby vista with adapters to use as a double (I have 3 under 5) and it is by far my favourite pram/pushchair I’ve had out of all of them. It suits my needs perfectly mainly, massive basket for 3 kids worth of rubbish and it’s light and easy to push and fits in my car

I think the fix is slightly bigger than the cameleon but not by a huge amount. Loved the big wheels and the suspension on the last pram for when I went out walking with the dog, didn't really matter where we went the pram could manage just about anywhere.

We've got the mamas and papas ocarro. It's an all terrain one so perfect for walking the dogs at the same time.
Suppose it depends what car you have but I find it folds up nicely even with the wheels attached.
We got it over Black Friday so got a really good deal on the price and added extras.

We also have the Ocarro and love it, although I do have to take one wheel off to get into the boot of my car which is irritating. It’s really sturdy so great for long walks, looks beautiful and nice big basket underneath.

I think it’s how you use it isn’t it- we don’t have pets and need a car to get anywhere or use public transport in a city, so it didn’t suit my needs. It’s a lovely pram, just I didn’t think how I would be using it

I have a Cosatto Giggle 2 and I love it. I don't drive so this is used everyday for school runs and shopping and it's really holding up well.

I really rate Cosatto as a brand, the stroller and high chair I got eight years ago are both still going strong.

I also like the fact that when you buy one of their travel systems you get everything you need in one bundle, footmuffs, rain covers, changing bags, etc... I found with some brands that once you started adding what they considered extras but in reality are essentials, the price skyrocketed.

Thank you so much, will have a good look at all of these. We have a pram warehouse type place about 40 minutes away so a trip there this weekend may be in order, I know they don't have bugaboos hopefully they do have some of the others mentioned though so can have a wee test drive.

We have gone for a mountain buggy. Haven't used yet as still awaiting baby, but once out of carrycot stage it folds in one piece into our small car fine, is lightweight (9kg), bounces up our front steps easily and wheels large for off-road (live in the countryside).

CornishMaid1 · 14/02/2020 13:38

Another one for the Ocarro. We did consider the Fox, but you can get some great deals on Ocarros online and they are a really lovely pram. We are in the country and so the main thing for us was a good all-terrain pram and that is one of the best.

I went for the cosatto wow. I got the whole travel system. We do a mix of walking and driving. DH doesn't drive so if they're having a day together then they walk. I drive often because of where we live. It fits in the car and I got the isofix base for the car seat which is great. I love the colours too and DS likes to stare at the patterns on the inside. He's almost too long for his carrycot but I'm pretty sure that would have happened with any pram because he's a really long baby.
