Hello ladies, I'm 31 weeks pregnant on Friday and I literally have had such a nice and amazing pregnancy.. I only had one week at the very start of my pregnancy when I was sick, I've literally had nothing else no more sickness, heartburn, stretch marks normal skin (although it's quite dry due to being a bit low in iron) is this normal or am I just being silly because I expected pregnancy to be so much harder? Has anyone else had easy pregnancies with perfect babies and it's just a dream pregnancy? 🤩🤩

My first pregnancy at 22 wasnt enjoyable. I had no sickness at all just bad heartburn and low iron. I had something wrong with the bloody supply to my womb (it has a name but I can't remember it) so had to have growth scans every few weeks from 24 weeks, ended up having DD via emcs at 33 weeks due to pre eclampsia. She was 4lb 11 amazingly and didn't need special care and was an easy baby apart from sleep which never levelled out till she was nearly 4.

My second pregnancy at age 34 was a dream, I was monitored closely due to last time but honestly if it wasn't for the growing bump and movement I wouldn't have known, it was scarily easy from start to finish including elcs which was great and I recovered really quickly. I actually miss being pregnant 😮 She was a dream baby, happy content and slept through from 12 weeks :) she is now nearly 2 and terrible 2s are kicking in badly... Couldn't stay easy forever I suppose 😂😁

Baby 1 was a dream easy pregnancy, long labour 2 days.. she was 2 weeks early. but nice relaxed water birth, no pain relief. Easy baby, slept through from 5 weeks.

Baby 2... very hard pregnancy, awful SPD very early on, big baby 10lb 3oz, 3 days over. Went from 3cm to 10mins later baby was coming. He decided to come out with his hand against his face, stitches, no pain relief, all very fast and a bit traumatic. He has been a tough baby, reflux, colic, dairy allergy. 7 months in doesn't sleep well some nights.

So good luck lol x

I had an "easy" pregnancy, other than some minor sickness in the early days, it was problem free. My midwife kept referring to it as "textbook" Then on the day I went into labour my blood pressure was sky high so I couldn't stay in the midwife led birthing centre for my gas and air water birth that I had planned. I had a 17 hour labour, with an epidural, episiotomy & forceps.

It's always sensible to keep in mind that anything can change at any point

Jaydemeehan33 · 13/02/2020 13:25

Trust me I do keep in mind that everything can change in the blink of an eye, as I literally said before just because I am having it easy now does not mean I'll have an easy labour or anything I'm just trying to be hopeful 🤞

Ohhhhh I am just a teeny tiny bit jealous!!! Definitely only a teeny tiny bit though...... (not really, i'm highly effing jealous 😂)

I have hyperemesis and I'm like death on legs. 😂

But, congratulations - that you can actually enjoy pregnancy and be a face to this 'glowing' word that is spoke of but not seen very much!

I had an easy pregnancy and dream birth. Baby was absolutely gorgeous and very healthy but not a sleeper, and still isn’t nearly 2 years later. I had him after 3 horrible miscarriages so felt like I deserved some luck!

Jaydemeehan33 · 13/02/2020 13:43

Aw no way I feel for you 😭 praying that you get better soon 💕 aw thanks though how nice of you! I thought the 'glowing' during pregnancy was a load of bull but I guess not, hopefully you get it soon!

My first was so easy I flew through it, my second is bloody hard! 27weeks today and I'm feeling it.
Hoping this means my next baby will be easier
