How long do the stomach cramps last for?

I have found out today that I am pregnant as confirmed by the clear blue test! :) My AF would be due tomorrow, and I believe right now I am 17 days post ovulation. For the past 7 days I have had stomach cramps. Similar to period pains but just a slightly different feeling. Is this normal, and if so I just wondered how long I can expect to feel this? It is making me quite paranoid :(

I'm 21 weeks pregnant and I still have them now! Everything with my baby has so far been fine 😊 every doctor or midwife I have spoken to have reassured me they are normal. Mine have been down to stretching and everything making room for baby!

Hi op - congratulations! I've also got my BFP today! I'm 11dpo but also have cramps... Im terrified they will turn in to AF. What have you worked out as due date?

I had ‘period’ cramps til about 10/11 weeks! I used to go the toilet and check my knickers about 30 times a day. I kept expecting my period to arrive at any moment despite the positive test 😂 I was absolutely shocked to see a baby at my first scans as I was convinced my period was coming. And even then I’d get period like cramps on and off until my DC were born. Happened with both pregnancies and they ended with 2 healthy babies so it’s not necessarily a bad sign or anything so try to relax 😄

Thanks for all the replies.

@Darell04 I have calculated it is as 19th October. How about yourself?

@Thescrewinthetuna LOVE your name btw.. I couldn't get enough of Kenan & Kel! I can't even tell you how many times I have checked my knickers!! I think I will probably be doing this until the baby arrives, but thank you for the reassurance. :)
