I would like to hear anyone else's experience of vision changes in their pregnancy. Were you eventually diagnosed with pre-eclampsia or did it turn out to be unrelated?

It could be a sign of blood pressure changes, have you contacted your GP/midwife

i've been having vision changes since i was about 16 weeks, i'm 32 weeks and blood pressure is fine and no protein in my urine, i say to them at all my appointments and they never seem concerned about it, not sure if its just a pregnancy symptom

Yes my BP has been consistently at the higher end of normal throughout my pregnancy (now 34 weeks). I'm now on labetalol to try and get it down. For the last 2 weeks I've been monitored closely and often by consultant and midwives and urine is always coming back clear. Eyes have also been thoroughly examined and there is no problem there.

Just looking to hear other's experiences with this as I am feeling so exasperated with it now.

Very very common i’m afraid. Can be a sign of problems of course, but dry eyes, blurred vision, and changes in near/long sight, and actual eyesight, is very normal. Been the same with both of mine, blurred vision, dry eyes, and just not being able to see as well as usual. All common.

In all my pregnancies my vision gets a bit worse. Not related to any medical problems, it's just because of the extra pressure on body and extra blood. Turns back to normal a few months after delivery.

Although, if you have a sudden vision change you should get checked as it could be sign of an underlying health problem.
