Hi Im freaking out please advise.

I was told back in August 2019 that I have diminished ovarian reserve. I was advised to take DHEA supplement, I have been taking 25mg daily for 6 months. I fell pregnant in December and had my 12 week scan today and everything was fine thank goodness.

Stupidly I’ve only just realised this evening I should of have stopped taking the DHEA supplement when I found out I was pregnant. Therefore I’ve been taking it through the whole of my first trimester. I’m now worried what the side affects to the baby could be?

Can anyone advise please as I’m worried? Has anyone else done this?

Obviously I will not take it anymore.

Hey,

I was curious how everything worked out for you and your little one. I am in a similar situation taking the DHEA in early pregnancy and very worried.

Just seeing if there was any updates on this. Am in the exact sane position lol

Everything worked out fine I have an amazing beautiful, loving, kind, sweet little boy...don't stress as I did and was terrified. Each scan will make you forget all about it. You are pregnant and focus on the baby and don't stress 🥰

Thanks for thata. Did you say you took it for 12wks? Am worried to stop cold turkey and it mess my hormones up 🤦‍♀️

Speak to your doctor. But my instructions said to NOT TAKE WHEN PREGNANT. so I stopped instantly. I'd speak to a professional. I don't want to give you wrong advice x
