29 weeks pregnant and leaking watery fluid - is it my waters?

I'm 29 weeks pregnant today exactly and for the past couple of weeks I have been constantly finding large, circular patches of just wetness in my underwear. Not enough to feel on its own though. It's there every time I go to the toilet and doesn't stop throughout the day. I had this a month or so ago and they said it wasn't my waters but they didn't know what it was. Now it's back, but I don't have thrush (have been tested recently and have had it non-stop through pregnancy) so I don't know what it is.

I've seen some people can leak waters over time... should I leave it or ring to get checked out?

I don't know to be honest but if in doubt, give your Midwife a ring. Best to get checked out just to be on the safe side and put your mind at rest if nothing else.

I think it was at your point OP that my discharge became a lot more watery and I had more of it, it could just be that but call your midwife or Mat Assessment to check if you're worried. It's always better to get checked.

I second PP, I had really watery discharge 25 weeks onwards, it’s gotten thicker again at 34 weeks. I recommend buying pant liners as you can tell it’s more dischargey then and puts your mind at rest and saves you worrying about what’s on your pants

I had it throughout pregnancy, not waters but just watery discharge. I started working on my pelvic floor lol, which helped a bit (as the pressure can make the bladder a bit leaky), and also sometimes just putting loo paper in my undies. It's worse when the baby is lower down, so early second trimester and third. Isn't it glamorous!

I would contact your midwife, they might be want to do an amnisure test to confirm it’s not your waters leaking or a scan to check there is still plenty of fluid around the baby.
