I have just found out I'm pregnant, roughly 4 weeks. I booked tickets for my chemical romance for June so I'll roughly be around 5 months. I have seats far back from the stage and not standing.

I went to a festival at 39 weeks pregnant, I camped and everything. My DS came 3 days later. We’re taking him and his brother this year, it will be his 1st birthday.

M.c.r is really intense music. My midwife told me to avoid any very loud music. Also she told me to avoid the cinema if it's a loud movie like something with shooting or rock music. So iv completely avoided all these types of things. At my Christmas party I was 7 months and as soon as the music came on the baby was wriggling around so much I actually left because I was worried after what the midwife said x

squeekums · 03/02/2020 23:11

i was working at music festivals up until 2 weeks before dd was born

I saw Metallica when I was about 4.5 months I think! You'll be fine!

Tink2007 · 04/02/2020 19:07

I went to see the Backstreet Boys two nights in a row when I was about 8 weeks pregnant :) ENJOY!

erised · 04/02/2020 19:15

I'll be seeing Rammstein in June, I'll be 8 months pregnant. Have been told it's fine aslong as you're not in the standing area.

futuremrsconnor85 · 04/02/2020 19:20

I went to watch a shouty band...Sleaford Mods...at over 7 months pregnant! Enjoy.

melissa1215 · 04/02/2020 19:33

I went to see a concert the day before my planned C-section, I was fine... swollen and kept getting numb bum cheeks but I had fun and it eased my nerves! So at 5 months I'm sure you'll be absolutely fine 😁

Enjoy it!!!

WhenTwoBecomeThree · 04/02/2020 19:37

I went to see Spice Girls when I was pregnant and standing right at the front. DP came with me to protect the bump and all was fine, just prepare to be worn out the day after!😂

ItsAlwaysSunnyInPhiladelphia · 04/02/2020 20:13

ENJOY FELLOW KILLJOYS 🖤🖤
I’m going to MK Thursday, Saturday 😆

whisper1991 · 04/02/2020 20:44

See you there OP!!

I saw Placebo about 3-4 weeks before my due date with my last pregnancy, Reading Festival when I was about 4-5 months! Also seeing the 1975 later on this month and I'm due April 1stGrin You'll be fine just take it easy!

IslayBrigid · 04/02/2020 20:57

@Gurtie28 this is very random but I am in wolverton too! I'm 10 weeks with my first. Maybe we can do pregnant coffee / will see eachother at the NCT course! :)

ItFigures · 04/02/2020 21:01

We are going to see them too, so excited. I’ve been to see them before and I think seated you should be fine.

I went to see Alanis Morissette when I was 8 months pregnant and it was really lovely. I know it’s far less raucous than an MCR concert though!

Mimijo27 · 04/02/2020 21:07

I'm going to see Kasabian at an outdoor concert about a week before my due date. Taking a camping chair with me and will find somewhere to plonk myself. Also the hospital is only up the road just in case 😂

squeekums · 04/02/2020 22:58

I saw Placebo
Rammstein
one word for you both

TEASE!!

Gurtie28 · 05/02/2020 06:14

@ItsAlwaysSunnyInPhiladelphia amazing!!!! It's going to be epic

@IslayBrigid congratulations! Not sure I will do any of the NcT classes, but I really want to do pregnancy yoga - I went to Whitespace in Stony with #1 but it's just so expensive. So I'm on the hunt for alternatives - I'll let you know if I find anything if you interested??

IslayBrigid · 05/02/2020 07:58

@Gurtie28 hello! Yes I realised if you've already had a baby you probably wouldn't do the NCT :)
Yes definitely I love yoga and planning to start prenatal yoga when I'm 12/13 weeks :) been doing normal yoga with modifications so far but haven't been going much as so sick. How many weeks are you?
I'm going in Wolverton tomorrow night actually! I'm new to Wolverton so still getting my bearings. Would be great to chat to a local about what's in the area!
Do you want to pm me and we can discuss more? :)

Rutennotou · 05/02/2020 12:35

I'm going to see Rammstein in June in a big field at 30 weeks pregnant and didnt give it a second thought 😂 You'll be fine. I went to lots of concerts when pregnant with my daughter, just need to use common sense take care.

Tilltheend99 · 20/05/2022 09:10

Hey, did you go/are you going to the concert in the end? I went last night (it was epic) Hope everything well with having your baby? We left our baby with grandparents for the night. I wasn’t expecting to have got pregnant and had a baby in the time it took to finally see them play after pandemic got in the way!

Nellie2710 · 21/05/2022 11:12

I'm 14 weeks pregnant and seeing them tonight! It's been a long 2 year wait and did not anticipate being pregnant when I booked tickets! Main concern is my terrible bladder at the moment, hoping I won't miss too much with my numerous trips to the bathroom haha cannot wait!

FabulousKilljoys · 21/05/2022 11:32

Not sure if this is an old thread but I went to loads of gigs and a couple of festivals whilst pregnant, all good!

I'm seeing MCR at MK stadium tomorrow night and I can't wait, taking my DD11 who's also a big fan. It's been a long wait!!

Nellie2710 · 21/05/2022 12:01

@FabulousKilljoys hope you have the best time! :)
