What is classed as a plus size pregnancy? What age is considered an older mum?

In no way is this post intended to upset anyone but I'm curious as to whether I'd fall in either of the categories as a plus size or older mum? What BMI or age does that normally mean? (if there are such parameters)

TIA

Age 33 and bmi of 33, I bought my weight up at my booking app which was at 5 weeks.
They've mentioned my weight when booking me in for my glucose test and spoken to me about watching what I eat so I don't gain loads, But they could have said that to me if I was alot smaller!? No idea but I'm just over 33 weeks and so far so good. Low risk, no GD and baby is growing fine. I've gained a stone which they're not concerned with and midwife said is normal and they're happy.

At our hospital, extra growth scans are offered if BMI is over 35 or if you're aged 40 or more! :)

I'm 37 and pregnant and was firmly informed I'm not a geriatric yet!

40 is now the threshold.

Not sure on the BMI though sorry, I would guess the obese threshold.

Just checked and NICE guidelines say BMI 30+ needs extra interventions.

They don't seem to have age range appears that's set by trust

I think i was classed as a geriatric pregant lady at 39 but my bmi was normal so all tests came back as low risk.

My trust only cares if your BMI is

In my area a BMI of 35 or over means an appointment at the hospital and a gestational diabetes test. A hospital referral for age comes at 36 or over. Often if you are well you are referred straight back to the community midwife team. I think for BMI over 40 and age over 40 you maintain the consultant contact and have additional scans etc.
