Anyone had more than one MC?

Hi There :-)

I'm currently pregnant for the 3rd time since last August. Into the 'danger zone' of 5.2 weeks... as I've never made it past 6- 6.5 sadly. Just wondered if anyone has had MC investigations and has a similar story to what I describe below please?

I've noticed a pattern with my pregnancies, where I get symptoms at implantation (i.e. boobs hard, extra saliva, tired ) .... they go milder at 4 weeks (boobs less hard, maybe a bit tired) and at 5 weeks they all go. (Boobs now totally soft again) I just feel totally symptomless now and full of energy. :-(

I know there's probably nothing I can do for this pregnancy now, but if you have anything to share I'd really appreciate it. Just can't quite believe that it would be bad luck 3 times in a row - with the exact symptom pattern each time?

(This time I put myself on the baby aspirin and 800mg progesterone pessaries too - as I thought one of those may have been the cause. Waiting for official investigations in April)

xx

Hi, I have had 4 miscarriages in a row all within a year of each other and they have all been missed miscarriages with no warning apart from brown bleeding near 12 weeks. I am now only 10+2 days pregnant and starting to feel normal in a way like all symptoms have died down and freaking out a little, but apparently that doesnt mean bad.. wish there was something I could say to you to make you feel ok, make us all feel that things were right x

I’ve had three miscarriages. Two were missed miscarriages discovered at the 11/12 week scan and one was a chemical pregnancy at 5 weeks. The missed miscarriages happened before my DS was born and chemical happened after DS was born. The chemical was easier for me to deal with personally. I found being pregnant for 11/12 weeks and having absolutely no bleeding or cramps just plain cruel especially after seeing the heartbeat twice with the second one.

Miscarriages are truly horrible, you have my sympathies and I really hope this pregnancy works out for you Flowers.

Hi op, my history is kinda similar in that I have had 5 early losses, 4 around the 4/5 week mark and 1 MMC at 9 weeks. We got genetic testing done on the back of the MMC and it turns out I have a balanced translocation. So they think that was causing the early losses but it wasn't the cause of the MMC, as it was something different. The NHS fobbed us off when we asked about karyotyping multiple times over a couple of years, and then lost the paperwork for the MMC so we are only finding this out now when it should have been sorted a year ago.

My advice to you would be take all testing offered and advocate for yourself, the NHS is fantastic but stretched. I was convinced it was my thyroid causing the issues but apparently not! Happily I am currently 13 weeks with a healthy well growing baby - the furthest I've got ever, and that was with 800mg progesterone too. Fingers crossed for you!
