Very normal. The anterior placenta acts as a cushion between your baby and your tummy so it will take much longer to feel kicks. However if you are worried, contact your midwife as only she can confirm all is ok.

I started feeling kicks in the 22nd week with anterior placenta ( last week!)

If this is especially your first baby, yes.

Have an anterior placenta this time and it's 4th baby. Started to realise real movements at 20 weeks, and over time got stronger. But midwife assured me that until 26 weeks would have been ok with an anterior.

I’m 24 weeks with an anterior placenta and only feel slight movements sporadically. I asked at my consultant appt 2 weeks ago and she wasn’t worried in the slightest.

I’m nearly 27 weeks with anterior placenta. It took a while but movements are now strong and frequent and have been from 24 weeks so don’t worry

I also have an anterior placenta but only found out last week when movements reduced and I went in for monitoring and scans. I have had a lot of movement from 26 weeks but esp from 28 weeks. I'm now 31 weeks and I definitely cant miss those kicks!
