Is this pain normal?

I'm 36wks with my first baby and have no idea what is 'normal' pain wise at this stage.

My whole bump is painful to touch. The lower down I touch, the more painful it gets. Started yesterday and has been dreadful during the night. I feel very queasy (was vomiting yesterday morning) and just feel rough in general too.
My hips and back are hurting but there has been no fluid or anything I would say was contractions/false contractions.

Not sure if I've just eaten something that doesn't agree with me, or if I should go and get checked out at the hospital.

I've had constant low movement during the whole pregnancy so have no pattern to compare movement to. Barely feel her move most days anyway.
I had a midwife appointment yesterday and mentioned I'd had a lot of pain in my bump, especially low down and was visibly wincing when she checked me over, but she never said a word which I assume means this is normal pain?

Doesn't sound normal to me.

Do you have a maternity assessment unit where you could go and get checked by someone else?

Thanks. I ended up ringing the hospital and they told me to go in.
They think the pain is a fibroid and I'm also having contractions. They're keeping me in hospital for monitoring.

Any news OP

They're keeping me in all day due to the contractions and I'm still in a lot of continuous pain. If it eases up I'll be allowed to go home tonight.
If this pain is mainly the fibroid, I don't fancy another month of dealing with it Confused.

They've confirmed my cervix is closed so labour isn't going to start, thankfully.
