Success stories would be great, I have around 77 day cycle and find this hard to think I'll ever get pregnant with such a long wait. Did a opk last Thursday and finally had a positive opk on day 56 but just feel its never gonna happen.

Any one with irregular periods wanna share their story to give hope to others please xx

@Liam2018 I think I can see a line in the first picture!!! Can you try again with your first morning wee?
All lines start off faint so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

I'm gon a try with second morning urine cause I heard its better. How come one looked positive and one didnt look so positive that's confusing can you get false positives

@Liam2018 how did you get on?
It's hard to say really! It could either be really faint and early and not strong enough just yet or it could be an evap. But only time will tell I suppose!

Didnt have time, do you think evening urine would be ok to test with

The strong the wee the better that's why they always suggest your first wee of the day!
If you can't wait try and hold on to one for as many hours as possible as if it is really early days it's really important for you wee to be strong :)

My first positive was just the same as yours! Took me 3 days to get a decent line to see, so don’t be disheartened if it takes a couple days! After taking about 13 tests I finally believed I was pregnant 😂

Thanks I'll hold my wee, do I avoid drinking too? I just found one that I took Thursday and I see a line on that too! Excuse me for the old one but that's it! I got two boxes of two and the two ones with line was in the same box and the two negatives are with the other box. Wonder if that means anything?

I had irregular cycles of similar length to yours (inspiring my username). All unexplained by the first round of tests by GP (bloods normal, PCOS excluded by scan). TTC for approx two years. Started acupuncture halfway through a cycle and fell pregnant the next. DD turns one next Saturday.

I had periods and sporadic while ttc but was not ovulating. I had irregular cycles, obsessed with symptom spotting and opk, used clearblue advanced. I was very on top of it i suppose. GP blood tests confirmed lack of ovulation (however they initially insisted on a cd14 test which was pointless when i was often going 40-50odd days between periods). They then tested various cds and confirmed. I likely have pcos (but my appointment to have final hormone testing etc for this came a week after my positive pregnancy test!). I read a lot about how to regulate cycle, naturally adjust hormones etc. I tried one thing at a time eg higher healthy fat diet so more nuts, full fat dairy etc. The thing that worked for me was cutting caffeine. I mean completely. Not a sip of a caffeinated drink, not even decaf coffee and tea as they have a small amount in them. I hadn't been consuming a lot of caffeine but an instant coffee or can of pepsi max a day. That month i had a 28 day cycle, mood was improved, ordinary period (not doubled over in pain, passing huge clots etc) then 12 days later ovulated and fell pregnant. Now have an amazing almost 5 month old son. Not to say cutting caffeine will work for everyone of course but I definitely had to do my own research. I have been on at doctors about my hormone problems for half my life and was only starting to get tested due to not conceiving.

Good luck!

I suppose there's a chance it could've been a bad batch, I've heard it before! If you're testing today good luck!
