When did you all start to feel your baby move for the first time? I'm 17+2 and impatiently waiting to feel it 😂 I know some people are 23 weeks before feeling anything 😩 I'm quite petite though so not sure if this might make a difference

Hi @2020firsttimemum thank you for posting this. Congratulations on your pregnancy. I am 17wks too and impatiently waiting!! Xx

Your time will come! It just all depends where baby is and where your placenta is also. I always felt my first kicks in the bath, for a good week I could only feel them in the bath, so maybe sit back and relax and tune into your body!

I'm 14 weeks and feeling movement. Feels like a rolling sensation along with little taps from the inside.

TTC1993 · 26/01/2020 20:25

I'm feeling movement at 18 weeks despite having an anterior placenta... its like a car going over a hill inside and tapping. Drink a cup of tea or fizzy juice and lie on your back ❤️

I was really late feeling movements with both pregnancies. About 22 weeks. The first movements felt a bit like a fart brewing! You know when you can feel food/air moving about inside and then it turns into a fart a few moments later? Well like that but without the fart at the end! Believe me, it won’t be long before you are seeing baby moving around as well as feeling it. Now that is weird!

MarshmallowsOnToast · 26/01/2020 20:31

22 weeks for me too.

Thistimetomorrow · 26/01/2020 20:39

Around 22 weeks OP. It felt like a tickle and a week or so later while sat resting my head on a table progressed to a strong kick. Obviously he didn’t like being squashed Smile

ELW85 · 26/01/2020 20:52

16 weeks with an anterior placenta, but nothing consistent until 20 weeks.

Keha · 26/01/2020 22:43

About 19 weeks, you'll get there soon enough, but does feel like a long wait!

K1999 · 26/01/2020 22:47

I was 17+6. Completely took me by surprise as I didn't feel anything before then and they were little jabs. There's lots of factors as to way you might not feel baby for a while, just relax, be patient as when they start they just get more and more painful as they go 😆

Catlover10 · 26/01/2020 23:38

I’m 19+3 and still haven’t felt anything as far as I know...slightly worrying for me but I’m hoping it’s normal still as everyone seems to be different.Confused

Jessie9323 · 27/01/2020 00:10

I've had anterior placenta for both my
Pregnancies and found with the first I felt it move about 23-24 weeks. This time it was about 19 weeks

latheritup · 27/01/2020 00:14

23 weeks with an anterior play

latheritup · 27/01/2020 00:15

Placenta

Thanks everyone for your replies! I know we are all different and I'm not worried about not feeling it yet, I'm just so impatient and want to! I almost don't feel pregnant still (aside from the fact I'm definitely getting bigger lol) so I'm excited to feel it!

Hopefully soon! :)
