Hi ladies. So I'm 8 weeks pregnant, it's my 5th pregnancy. My first ended up with a mmc. Baby passed at 11+6 and I found out at around 13 weeks. Had a d+c two weeks later. With my second, I started bleeding at 10 weeks and when I was scanned, I was told i was around 4-6 weeks, no baby could be seen etc, was booked in for another scan 2 weeks later and miscarried 3 days before my next scan. It was an incomplete miscarriage and I ended up having 2 loads of medical management and ended up nearly dying of sepsis as a result. My 3rd pregnancy ended with my beautiful DD who is now 13 months old. She was fully breastfed so I had no periods, and I started to heavy bleed which I presumed was my period returning. 3 days later it progressed into loosing huge clots and I took a pregnancy test which confirmed miscarriage. Fast forward to now. Since finding out im pregnant I've been having really sharp pains in my lower stomach, and quite a few at the top, above my belly button. And today I've been getting sharp stabbing/shooting pains tmi! up my vagina.

I'm sorry it's a long post. But it's making me extremely anxious. I went to the doctor's at 6 weeks and asked for my bloods to be done but the doctor said "even if they aren't rising, there's not much we can do, so there's no point". Im extremely stressed, and just wondered if this is normal? Maybe then I could chill a little.

If you've read this far, thank you X

Ohh that sounds like you've had an awful time. I'd be insisting on someone medical checking things over if I were you; though I've no idea if they would be able to do anything.

I hope someone more knowledgable is able to offer you advice, but I wanted to send you hugs and best wishes.

Thankyou @mummyduckduck thats so kind! I have terrible anxiety and the doctor's know this. But they done seem fussed. I have been told numerous amounts of times after my miscarriages that "you're still young, you can have another" yet going through a MC is both physically and mentally draining 😫 I hate not knowing. Sitting here wondering if once again, ive been carrying around my child whilst it no longer has a heartbeat, it's crushing.
