I sent my Matb1 in the post to my employer a couple of weeks ago. What happens now? Is he supposed to contact me or what is going...?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Probably need to call them to find out. I needed mine back as DH needed to show work for his paternity leave by 25weeks

If you are entitled to smp, your employer must send you the details of how much you will be paid and when within 28 days.

I would recommend chasing this up as my employer convienantly ‘lost’ mine - luckily I had made a copy and emailed it so had evidence that they were lying or I wouldn’t have got anything!

Thank you. I have emailed him just now.

Ugh feeling so stressed Sad

Why are you feeling stressed? :(

I am sure it will all be fine, if you only sent it in a couple of weeks ago they still have a couple of weeks to get back to you. It sounds like you’ve done everything you need to :) I take it you’ve told them when you’re going on leave etc?

I'm more stressed about returning to work after the baby is born because I don't know what I'll do about childcare. Just so much going round my mind.
I need to work as long as possible up to my due date and I haven't discussed it with my boss yet.

Oh no, that sucks :(

There is so much to think about isn’t there! My hubby is always telling me not to worry too far ahead of time but it’s hard.

Childcare is deffo a tricky one. I’ve decided to leave my current career after baby to go part time in something more family friendly, but it’s not an easy decision and I have no idea if it will actually work!

I take it that your job is suitable for working up until your due date? That’s good if it is!
