Single artery umbilical cord

My twenty week scan, they picked up on it.

Im so happy to hear you had a healthy baby🙏
The doctors also told me I have single umbilical cord and it worries me so much. I am due 10th of December to a baby boy and it scares me thinking the baby might have something?
How is your baby girl doing now?

Hi Sunshine, just in case Raindancer doesn’t see your question, I thought I’d chip in here to say that my daughter had a single umbilical artery and is now a healthy, bright first-year university student. If everything else looks ok on your scan, I’d try not to worry. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!

@Sunshinexx95 Hi, she is now 17 months old and growing like a weed! Apparently it's more common than they let on. Good luck, I am sure everything will be fine for you too x
