How far along were you when you had your first?

Hi,

I'll be 38 weeks when my antenatal classes finish and now I'm worried I've booked them too late :-/ It's a 5 week course though so I should be fine for the first few sessions so was just wondering when everyone had their first? x

37+1. Induced due to pre-eclampsia found at 36 weeks.

NCT classes had finished a mere two weeks beforehand. So glad I got in when I did.

42 weeks

41 weeks.

39+6.

38+6

37 weeks exactly!

Induced for high blood pressure at 38+5. Would have managed absolutely fine without turning up to any of the ante natal classes.

I didn't bother with antenatal classes so don't worry too much

37 weeks exactly and baby was breech

35+5. Only made the first antenatal class, was actually still in hospital with DD when our class came round the the tour!

Induced at 40+0 and arrived at 40+4!!

40 + 16 and even then they had to drag him out !!

Two weeks early. I was meant to join a group tour of the antenatal Ward but gave birth the day before. I saw the group trooping round and realised that should have been me.

I am 38+1 and only got offered antenatal classes on Friday. Declined them as it felt a bit unnecessary at this stage!

40 + 6 and she only came out because she was evicted! None of our nct group had their babies before 40 weeks.

40+3.

42 weeks with my first and that was induction he didn't want to come out

41 weeks.

did my classesa month before due. waste of time. Just take the drugs, get high, and push!

35 weeks. Antenatal classes where the 96nly thing we had done before he was born. We literally had nothing apart from a few baby clothes! Husband spent the week we were in hospital running around buying everything!

I started at 36 weeks. Everyone else in my class was further along than me.

36+3 when my waters broke and I went into labour 37weeks on the nose when he came out.
DS2 was also 37 weeks on the nose when my waters broke but they brought the section forward so I had him about an hour later.
I knew they were coming early but no one believed me each time although it was more obvious with DS2 as I literally looked like I was going to pop as I had polyhydramnios (excess fluid)
However all the others in my anti natal group bar one who had a planned early section due to medical reasons were on time or later than due date.

I was the first of my NCT group to give birth at 39+2.
