I'm really excited!

Roozy123 · 22/01/2020 17:49

Oh that's what I got!
It's lovely. I'm very excited for you lol

It pushes so well. Like some don't glide or are too heavy.

I got this one too - it’s great! Anyone buy a changing bag yet to go with it?

I’ve got the isofix base if anyone wants it, let me know! I don’t need it because I don’t have a car, but it’s brand new and still in the box.

Roozy123 · 22/01/2020 18:48

I bought a Billie fairs changing bag. I think it's called something like a "my babiiee".. Or something!? 40 odd pound down to 15 x

Delbelleber · 22/01/2020 19:12

I like seeing the pictures of it Grin

@sadtoday21 when are you due?
How much are you selling the base for?

sadtoday21 · 22/01/2020 20:33

@Delbelleber I am due on 12 March, how about you?

I'm willing to let it go for next to nothing, I just don't need it and it's taking up space in my small flat!

Delbelleber · 22/01/2020 20:42

I'm not due till the end of May!
I might be interested in the base. I haven't even got the travel system yet though. But I would like isofix for convenience

Roozy123 · 22/01/2020 20:47

@sadtoday21 im due a week after you! 😍

Have you got much more to get?

sadtoday21 · 22/01/2020 21:15

@Roozy123 wow, that's amazing! I'm looking at this momore nappie changing bag with laptop compartment - looks chic and good for work too, but its also 40 pounds and I feel that is a lot! I still have some clothes and smaller items to buy, such as bath stuff, the changing mat, nursery rug, hospital bag things, the sling, etc. Not totally prepared yet! Have you started packing your bag yet?

@Delbelleber I would definitely want the isofix if I had a car here, its supposed to be safer and a lot more convenient than using the seatbelt. But my car is in the States and I doubt I will ever drive one here! So it's yours if you want it, feel free to PM later on if you do!

Roozy123 · 22/01/2020 21:32

@sadtoday21 I haven't started my hospital bag yet.. but I've written a list of things I need. I'm going to start next week to get some bits together so it's all just done and I don't have to worry about getting anything more. I need to wash the babies clothes, bedding and towels .. oh and I need to get nappies and wipes too!
That sounds lovely.. It's worth the money i think as you'll defo use it daily and get your monies worth x

Delbelleber · 24/02/2020 13:01

Mine is coming tomorrow Grin

For those of you who already have yours, can I ask a quick question? My daughter's arrived today and we're really impressed with it over all, feels like decent quality etc.

Only thing is the bumper bar - one side clicks into the frame nicely, the other side doesn't - it will go in, but doesn't "lock", you can just pull it straight back out. Comparing the metal things at either end of the bar (the bits that push into the frame), they are not the same as each other at all, totally different shapes. Not sure if it is a manufacturing mistake - do yours have identical metal bits either end of the bumper bar? The instructions just say to push in until they click, but want to be sure I'm not just being dense!

To add my 2p worth, I have got this pram after a very boring afternoon comparing price, features, reviews, weight, warentee period, spare part availability etc of all of them in the price range on Argos (to compare the ones on other websites too would have taken a lifetime...). This was the best on paper at least in November last year. Having used it since December, it seems pretty good. The bit the baby sits in clicks really easily in and out of frame, and it is easy to set up, put in and out of car etc. It felt light to push and easy to handle even after a c-section. Only criticisms - The material flap that zips over the baby (as a sort of cover I guess?) has a little hole worn through already along one piece of the stitching. I don't feel I've been especially rough with it or anything. Front wheel locks don't seem particularly effective either, but this doesn't matter as the main break works fine. All in all would recommend.
