Hi all,

I'm 11 weeks and I'm pleased to stay I'm starting to feel a bit less bed bound. From weeks 6-10 it has been the worst month of my life, honestly constant sickness and nausea and just feeling like utter crap.

However yesterday I noticed even though I'm still being sick, my nausea has reduced a tiny bit and I'm a bit more perky.

I was feel adventurous and made myself Mac and cheese for lunch, and I instantly churned and was sick everywhere after only a couple of mouthfuls. I've noticed this whenever I try anything new and my only safe option seems to be bread.

Is anyone else suffering from the same thing? I'm so bored of toast, bagels and crisps. I feel like my diet is so bad.

🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️ but it's mainly breakfast time.

Hot cross buns instantly make me throw up & so do coco pops 😂
Honestly some mornings are a mission to get something down me 🙈

Mine can hit at any point on the day. It's honestly like the baby is saying "yuck I don't like that food, goodbye mommy" and makes you sick lol

I fully empathise, bread is all I can stomach too. Luckily it’s my favorite food, but I’m worried about my lack of veg!
I did get better from week 10/11, but I’m week 12 now and have gone downhill again 😭 I even threw up my toast this morning

I lived on toast for the first 12 weeks... after that I started slowly eating normally again. Now 30+4 and I eat everything I used to.

Beau2020 · 14/01/2020 14:52

Oh very jealous!! Can't wait to be able to eat normally I feel that I've developed a really bad relationship to food now Confused

Yeah I felt the same.... it felt like I was never gonna leave the bread! Although I still eat it quite a bit Confused
Not long till your back to eating normal again xx

whiskeyandice · 14/01/2020 15:27

I lived off cream crackers for a good four weeks.
It did subside around halfway through and I could eat normally, although I couldn't stomach bacon for 9 months.
I still do this day cannot drink tea. And I used to love tea.

Beau2020 · 14/01/2020 16:54

@whiskeyandice I'm the exact same with tea! I can't stomach it whatsoever, I used to drink 2/3 cups a day!

@Beau2020 you may be ok and go back to it! I went back to loving bacon straight after delivery which I'm pleased about 😂
Beware as well, sometimes just the smell of food will do your head in soon. Don't even need to eat it!

ml01omm · 14/01/2020 17:22

@Beau2020 I am 100% the same - I am basically eating Bread for all 3 meals. I love bread, but is driving me crazy too!

Jj93x · 14/01/2020 19:05

I am literally the same unfortunately :( I’ve lived off potato and salt and vinegar crisps for the last month as it’s all I can stomach.

Anything else makes me gag which is so sad because I love food! Loads of my old favourites I can’t even bear thinking about now :(

love2020 · 14/01/2020 21:06

Exactly the same as you beau and I’m 14 weeks now. I was also bed bound for a good 4/5 weeks. Hoped my aversions would start to wear off at 12 weeks but they are still going strong. Living on a diet of cereal and toast - I’ve tried to eat a few more normal things but that hasn’t ended well so far Sad
