Why don't you ask a midwife if they are safe to use op and then go from that?

@firstimemamma phone apps and home use Dopplers are not safe to use. The baby’s heart rate should only be monitored/checked by a trained health professional ie a midwife or obstetrician.

Also in the UK the NICE guidance for antenatal appointments advises against listening into the baby’s heart rate, and that it should only be done at the woman’s request (most midwives will offer though) this is because the baby movements is more of an indication of the baby’s wellbeing, and it is also often difficult to find the heart rate before at least 26 weeks.

@Blahblahblahnanana I couldn't agree more, that's exactly why I said what I said in my last post. I'm assuming you meant to tag someone else.

My sofa has a heartbeat according to my iPhone. Dangerous things that should be illegal, please don’t use them. You may think you’re hearing baby but you’re not it’s fake and you could miss seeking help for a problem as it falsely reassures you.
