Hi ladies, I know I am may overreacting but when for my first scan at 4+2, my doctor couldn't see the yolk (I dont know if this is the correct term) she said the uterus lining is thick and my blood test was positive obviously, even my home pregnancy test at 4 days late was with a BFP.
Should I be concerned? When is usually the baby shows in the ultrasound?

This happened to me although the ultrasound literally just said ‘there’s nothing there, but might be too early’. Had positive numerous blood tests with my GP so had another scan (internal) a few weeks later and found that I was 8 weeks pregnant. I think (although could be wrong) that the scans usually show the baby anytime after 5/6 weeks so you’re probably just too early to see anything yet. Good luck and hope you see baba soon!

I'm surprised they did a scan that early to be honest as it's highly unlikely there'd be anything to see at 4 weeks!
I had an internal at 6+1 and it was just a teeny blob lol

I had one at 5+1 and could only just see something. I’d have thought 4+2 would be too early. I know it’s so hard to be patient but I would try to wait a few weeks before a further scan.

4+2 is far too early for a scan - are you in the UK? Baby is the size of a poppy seed, you won’t see anything until closer to 6 weeks.

Why on earth did they scan you that early?

OMG! I am embarrassed😅 I went to the doctors once I got the positive, I have PCOS and had difficulty conceiving so I think that's why I was in a hurry?! lol
No I live in Iraq😊
Thank you very much guys for the responses.
