Can I bring kids to scan appointments?

I have an anomaly scan coming up but my childcare options may have fallen through - has anyone been allowed to bring their kids into the room with them?

My letters say nope.

Thanks for all the feedback - as advised I called the scan department and they said it is fine to bring her in but if she acts up my DH will have to step out of the room with her.

I did try to move it to another date/time but none available for the time window ideal for an anomaly scan.

We did exactly that - my then 12/14 month old came to the 12w and 20w scan. At 20w my husband had to step outside with her halfway through.
