I'm sure I will laugh about this at some point, but with all the hormones I just can't stop crying. I slept next to dog pee all night, and freaking out now. My dog is not sick or anything, vaccinations all up to date. Rang the vet and she said it should all be fine - she's pregnant too!

Two previous losses and I feel terrified something will happen to make me lose this one...any reassurance welcome xxx

Best of luck! For what it's worth I managed two pregnancies with 4 dogs, cats and horses - dogs and cats all slept in my bed, everyone was fine. All I changed was taught the dogs to sleep on a blanket at the foot of the bed when the baby arrived and shut the cats out when the baby was very young. DCs now sleep with various animals.

The dog pee will be fine
I reckon your dog knows you are pregnant.

@Booboostwo thanks for being so kind. I just needed reassurance. The midwife was amazing too and helped me understand what's going on. My husband doesn't sleep with me as he has a brain injury and talks alot in his sleep and gets confused, so my dog has been my buddy and more often than not my companion. I needed her so much again. Will definitely have her go on a blanket sooner rather than later. Glad to hear all yours are well xx
