Hi :) so I don't know if I am worrying but not really sure what to expect as it's my first pregnancy. I'm 29+3 weeks and my bump feels really hard. I don't think it's Braxton-Hicks because it doesn't come and go it just keeps getting more hard. I was measured about 2 weeks ago and they measured me at 31cm which I was told is a little too big for how far along I am but not to worry and hopefully it will even itself out. But I don't feel like my bump is evening out, just getting bigger and harder. Aside being really uncomfortable, the baby is always quite high up as well. He's been moving and rolling around nicely and regularly so far but I guess I just want to know if this is normal and if it's happened to other people. Thanks :)

I was always shocked by how hard my bump felt. If you're feeling a normal pattern of movements then I'd talk to the midwife at your next appt. If they think you need extra monitoring/scans they will refer you

I had this and was carrying too much fluid (can’t remember how to spell what it’s called!) I’d concerned go back and ask to be measured again. In my case it was a sign of something sinister but that’s incredibly rare. Worth knowing about tho as I had never heard of it, assumed I was just carrying large or something daft like that.

I think the baby’s position and lots of perfectly healthy normal things are far more likely though. Good luck with your pregnancy Flowers

If the baby is still head up which is perfectly normal for 29 weeks this can also make your bump feel harder and rounder :)

Definitely mention it but as pps have said its likely normal and nothing to worry about
