Early pregnancy and cramps?

Hi,
I found out I was pregnant yesterday.
I am possibly 3 weeks+6 but I'm not exact as I have irregular cycles and my BBT chart is hit and miss with accuracy.

I have had light - medium period cramps the last few days. Is this normal or should I be worried or expect this to be a chemical pregnancy?

@zoelouwalk Yeah I know it's just frustrating because it makes me worry if I don't have symptoms I feel like something is wrong!

@EssJayyCee this is my 5th child I'm stil worrying i would of been due on today so I'm getting mild cramps like wind as well I'm always checking for blood lol.. maybe when first scans been u will feel better

Yes I think I will feel so much better once the first scan has happened but that is still over a month away at least! 😫

@EssJayyCee it was a massive shock didn't expect it I missed the pill once so it just goes to show u .. I'm 42 so a bit worried been older

@zoelouwalk I'm sure everything will be fine. Keep positive. How old are your other 4 kids?

I'm on my first pregnancy and have worked out i am around 6 weeks (hard to work out as my periods and stuff were so irregular) anyway, i've had mild period pain and sore boobs, i've been very tired and a bit nauseous. It's really hard for me because i have been reading about miscarriages and chemical pregnancies and i can't help but worry about it, i also don't have many people to talk to about this! I've told a few people as i'm a bit of a foghorn but the rest can wait until 12 weeks! Hope everything goes ok for everyone :-)

@EssJayyCee scan was all good yesterday and saw the little bean jumping around like crazy! 💕💕💕

@squirrelnutkins1 aww that's so exciting! Only a couple more weeks until you see him/her again!

May I ask, how much did your private scan cost?

I am pretty sure I should be 4weeks+4 today but CB Digital only said 1-2 weeks which means 3-4?
Are they reliable?

It was £59. I know it's a lot but for me it's worth it because of having a previous loss. It's helped put my mind at rest a bit. Can't wait to see the bean again 😊😊😊

Yeah you add a couple of weeks on to CB. I've never had a problem with CB but loads of people say first response are best but as far as I know CB are the only ones who do a digital one. I did a CB digital at 8 weeks and got the 3+.

Your dates may change anyway when you have a scan. My first one put me forward 3 days and the one yesterday but me back 1 day so I'm trying not to get too hung up on days x

I got 1-2 which is 2-3 weeks but I am 4weeks+4 so was expecting a 2-3 on the test. But I'm not worried about it it just confused me!

I want march to hurry up because I think that's when my 12 week scan will be! Eek! I am so excited to be able to see it all.
I want to start buying things but I know I can't/shouldn't yet!

@EssJayyCee just seen that you asked how old my other kids were? It's a big gap.. 24 boy 21 boy 13 girl and a little boy 5 x

Oh wow. Sometimes they are on groupon type sites. Worth having a look for anything local.
I feel like the first trimester is dragging soooooo long! People say the rest flies by.
We've told our two closest friends this weekend. Made one cry 😭💕
