Feeding decisions

Please no judgements but I plan to bottle feed but was interested in giving my baby colostrum on the first day or 2 after birth. If I do this then switch to bottles will I become engorged? Midwives all seem up for the colostrum feeds but I never thought to ask about after and they never mentioned it.
Any advice or anyone ever do this?

You can BF initially it can take a few days for the milk to follow then swap To bottles. If you start BFing it's up to you when to stop. X

Your milk will come in and cause your breasts to become engorged even if you never breast feed at all. But it will settle after a few days

What luckykitty said - your milk will come in either way, but I’m sure there are ways of ensuring that you aren’t overly uncomfortable
