As above. Are they reputable?

Several times for ivf and pregnancy scans. Scans were done by sonographers who also work fir NHS, very helpful.

Hi we used our local ultrasound direct twice. Once for a gender scan and again for a 20 weeks scan, they where brilliant and took there time, also we where able to take our 2 other children. Highly recommend

Yes I had an early scan at their Cambridge branch. Very professional with years of experience. Would recommend.

Yes for Harmony test (with scan), no complaints!

Yes. I’ve had 5 or 6 scans there. Mixed experiences. Lpool St place has been excellent and they fitted me in at an hour’s notice when I was experiencing bleeding in early pregnancy. I went for another scan at Harley Street and it was terrible. They called me the morning of the scan to come in an hour early, only to make me wait an hour when I arrived. Receptionist was useless and sonographer blamed receptionist. No apology or offer to refund!

Megabustravelling · 29/12/2019 10:43

Yes I did and I must say I had a negative experience. When I was told I had a mmc the technician sat in silence for two minutes and then blurred out "there's no heartbeat" (not even a sorry), then told me not to worry, enjoy my weekend and deal with the mmc on Monday. I paid when I'd arrived and I was in floods of tears as I left the ultrasound room and the receptionist was shouting after me to wait for my scan picture as I was leaving quickly. As one in four pregnant end in a mc, I was horrified that they would be like this day in, day out. This is a place local to me and in future, I'll drive 17 miles to the next nearest ultrasound place as they were wonderful.

@Megabustravelling I'm so sorry that happened to you. How terrible for you. I've called because I had quite a lot of blood last night and a little more this morning. Hospital won't scan because I had one last Monday. I did think when I called and they were going on about photos that I'm not going to want them if it's non viable. They need a more sensitive procedure for when it's not good news.

Not sure if this is still relevant, but I did (in Oxford) and had a great experience, especially since I felt the NHS wasn't taking my rare condition (uterus didelphys) seriously enough. So had the cervical scan recommended by the RCOG, NICE and others, at 16 weeks (wouldn't get one on NHS before 20 weeks even though repeatedly asked) and was assured everything is fine. I realise this is not necessarily substitute for a hospital scan, but the best I could figure out. They were very nice and seemed professional.

I used them. They were nice and clean. The only difference is that other brands costs less, so the following pregnancies I didn't use their services because of the price.

KatnissMellark · 29/01/2020 13:21

Yes, I've used them for IVF and pregnancy scans, at a few different branches. Had good news and bad. Found them universally excellent and recommend them to everyone.

Darkstar4855 · 29/01/2020 14:08

Yes, had an early reassurance scan and then Harmony test at the Southampton one and they were great. I can imagine it’s not the best place to receive bad news though.
