Little movement/if any

Hi, I'm 19 weeks pregnant currently and for just over a week I've had quite a lot of movement from my baby. He's active when I go to bed, whenever I wake through the night and evenings after I've eaten. It's not just flutterings, it's proper movement that my DH can feel too.
I can't remember having any kicks through last night and nothing through today either, except a small handful after I'd eaten my dinner but nothing close what he's been doing the past week.
I've got my 20 week scan in a couple of days which I was excited for and now I'm nervous...
My midwife said not to take notice of any movement routine until 24 weeks so I'm trying to stay relaxed and hoping he'll start moving again soon.
If he's changed positions is it normal not to feel anything?

I am 19+2 and in exactly the same position as you. I was going to post the same question but saw yours, so following.
I rang the maternity triage line in my hospital who were completely unhelpful- just told me I can only call them after 20w - which is in 5 days! Didn't give any advice whether I should be worried or not, just said if you are worried go to A&E which I am reluctant to do.

Exactly, I don't want to waste anyone's time going to hospital if he's simply just changed positions but it's really unnerving not knowing what's going on!
I'm really hoping he'll be active when I wake through the night (haven't been able to sleep through for ages 😩).
🤞 we're both overreacting x

I'm still waiting to feel any movement. Sometimes I feel something but it could easily just be my own body. I wish I I knew what was going on there with some proper movements! I'm 18+4

Your babies are still very little and their movements can be hard to feel depending on where they are lying inside you
At this stage I’m afraid you just have to wait for him/her to move into a position which means you feel them more. As they grow they are less able to get into a position that makes it hard to feel.
If you are well with no pain & no bleeding, there is no reason to believe that there is a problem Just look forward to the next wriggles!

I had a lot of on off movements from around 19 weeks, I'm now 25 and only just feel like it's becoming more of a pattern.

Midwife advised it can be normal to establish a pattern anywhere up to 28 weeks. Also you may have anterior placenta (which they'll tell you at 20 week scan) which means if baby has moved you may feel less.

The maternity unit can't do much early on but if you are really concerned contact them for advice.

I had this exact thing a few days ago, and I’m 19+4. Barely felt a thing on Xmas eve and Xmas day. Got myself all worried, did a bit of reading and reassured myself that baby must have just moved into a position I’d be less likely to feel him. And sure enough he’s not stopped moving since Boxing Day.
The irony is, I kept saying to people, I’ll be more reassured when I can feel it moving! But we will always find something to worry about. I’m sure your little one is absolutely fine
